West Virginia Independence Hall – West Virginia Day Celebration

Beginning at 9:00am with the official premiere of the “West Virginia Encyclopedia.

Activities will continue throughout the day culminating with an afternoon Tea and musical entertainment from 3:00pm – 5:00pm.

Activities include: Children’s parlor games, true stories about slaves who tried to escape to freedom before the end of the Civil War, a photo booth where visitors can have their pictures taken in authentic Civil War costumes.

The actual Birthday celebration will start at 12:05 on the front lawn.
