Wildflower Festival
The Potomac Valley Audubon Society will hold a Wildflower Festival on Saturday, April 22 at its Yankauer Nature Preserve north of Shepherdstown.
The festival will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and will include refreshments, children’s activities, music, local artists showing and selling their artwork, artist demonstrations, a dance performance, storytelling, and guided walks of the preserve.
Admission to the festival will be free.
The Potomac Valley Audubon Society (PVAS) co-owns and manages the Yankauer Nature Preserve in partnership with The Nature Conservancy.
The 100-acre preserve is located along the Potomac River in northeastern Berkeley County near the village of Scrabble. It has two miles of nature
trails with river views.
