Eldorado

Eldorado is the seat of Schleicher County,and was established in 1895. In the scenic, rugged Hill Country of West Central Texas, Eldorado is the center for oil field service and supply firms, and is headquarters for the large ranching area, especially sheep and goats. A heavy concentration of white-tailed deer makes the entire county popular with hunters each fall and winter.
