Floydada

Floydada, which was established in 1890, was originally called Floyd City. The seat of Floyd County is in the center of a productive farm area, headquarters for large electric co-op, and cotton ginning and shipping point.

Check with the chamber of commerce for information on the Circle Dot Ranch which serves cowboy breakfasts and suppers on edge of Caprock Canyon.

Start early. Stay late.
