Pleasanton

Pleasonton was established in 1858, but was preceded by much earlier Spanish, Mexican and Anglo-American ranching activities. The town bills itself as the “Birthplace of the Cowboy,” epitomized by a bronze statue in front of the city hall. Hunters seek white-tailed deer (among the largest in Texas) as well as dove and quail during the fall and winter hunting seasons.

More road, less rush.

There's no need to hurry through something worth experiencing.

Atascosa River Park
