Sierra Vista
Sierra Vista is the major population center for southeastern Arizona. Located approximately 70 miles southeast of Tucson. Sierra Vista serves as the main commercial, cultural and recreational hub of the area. Easily accessible off of Interstate 10 at an elevation of 4,623 feet, Sierra Vista’s abundant sunshine, high altitude and clean fresh air add to the city’s livability and comfort. Its picturesque setting among the Huachuca, Dragoon, Mule and Whetstone Mountains emphasize its Spanish name meaning Mountain View. Within the city is Fort Huachuca, home of the U.S. Army Intelligence Center and School. Sierra Vista incorporated in 1956.
