Utopia

The small Texas Hill Country community of Utopia was settled in the early 1850s in northeast Uvalde County. It is on the crystal-clear waters of the Sabinal River among rugged canyons shaded by Bald Cypress, live oak, and pecan trees, 12 miles south of Lost Maples State Natural Area.

The community offers a wide range of outdoor activities including swimming, tubing, horseback riding, hunting, hiking, cycling, and birding.
