Every year when the darkness replaces the light, Hamilton County celebrates Independence Day with a fireworks display that gets bigger and better every year. The celebration is held every 4th of July in front of the grandstands at the Hamilton County Fair Grounds in Aurora at approximately 10:00pm. Prior to the fireworks, games and refreshments such as popcorn, root beer floats are available. There will also be A Demo Derby.
