4th of July Concert and Fireworks

The Family & MWR and Fort Leonard Wood invite you join us for our Annual MWR Independence Day Celebration beginning at 3pm at the Gammon Field (Iowa Ave). Celebrate our Independence with various games and activities for the entire family to include military vehicle displays, horse shoes tournament, interactive games, watermelon eating/seed spitting contest, car show and more and check out performances from the 399th Army ROck Band “The Woodchucks” and Trixie Delight. The Salute to the Union will begin at 7pm, followed by the US Army Soldier Show at 7:30pm with the area’s largest fireworks display after the completion of the Soldier Show. Concessions from various vendors and a variety of booths will be available. So come out; bring your lawn chairs and/or blanket and enjoy a fun and FREE event! Open to the public.
