5K Bearfoot Race and 1 Mile Grizzly Fun Run

The 5K (3.1 mile) Run is a competitive event with age / gender categories and awards. The 1 Mile Grizzly Run / Walk is a competitive event for grades K-5 with grade/gender categories and awards. For grades 6 —12 and adults the 1 mile is a non-competitive event to encourage everyone, to walk, run, jog, or stroll.
No pets, bicycles, skateboards, or inline skates will be
allowed.
Day of Race registration and packet pick-up
begins at 7:00 am.
5K Road Race begins at 8:00 am.
1 Mile Fun Run begins at 9:15 am.
Registration and Entry Fees:
Early Registration $15 for 13 and up ; $10 for 12 and under
After March 1st and Day of Race $18 for 13 and up; $13 for 12 and under.

Divisions
Men and Women for the 5K Race. 10 and under,
11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and
over.
For the 1mile race, grade/gender awards will be given to children in grades K-5.
Top quality T-shirts and goodie bags for all registered participants.
(T-Shirts/goodie bags are not guaranteed to those registering on race day.)
Course
The 5K Race will be an out and back with start/finish at New Hope
Elementary. Course begins behind the school, turns right onto Rauschenburg Road, left onto Reed Road (the road will be closed by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Department), the turn around will be approximately where the gas pipeline crosses Reed Road.
The course has a few rolling hills on Reed Road.
