67th Mt. Nebo Chicken Fry

The purpose of the annual festival is to promote the poultry industry which is the largest industry and job provider in our area. The public, as well as vendors are invited to celebrate the industry through socialization, competitions and of course, chicken dinners. There will be events such as: car and bike show, power wheels race, horseshoe tournament, chicken race, chicken calling contest and Mr. Lovely Legs competition. This year plans are to host “Battle of the Bands”. Tyson donates the chicken and ingredients for the chicken dinners. September 27, 2014 Veterans Memorial Riverfront Park
