This old fashioned celebration of our nation’s birthday will be held on TUESDAY July 4th in 2006. The festival’s theme will be “Volunteers, People making a difference”. The festival features a 5K family run at 8:00 A.M., a street fair with over 300 arts & crafts and food vendors from 9:30 am till 5 pm and live entertainment all day. A large off-street park-like area is devoted to entertaining children and includes everything from pony rides and a petting zoo to games. There is a 100+ unit street parade at 10 am and a large classic & antique car and truck show from 9:30 am till 5 pm.The day culminates with entertainment at 8:30 P.M. and a spectacular fireworks display at 10:00 P. M. at the Centerville High School football stadium. Admission to all festival events is free and there is ample free parking for both the public and for vendors!!
