Annual Doodlebug Reunion

Doodlebug owners meet to parade, trade and reminisce about their 1940s riding machines. The famous Doodlebug motor scooter was built by Beam Mfg. in Webster City between 1946 and 1948. Of the 40,000 scooters built, it is estimated that maybe 1000 still exist. If you have one, please bring it to the show! A secured building will be available for overnight storage of your motor scooter and other equipment. Food will be available on site at the Doodlebug Cafe. Come early to buy, sell or trade parts and scooters. Organized rides will include a 5.7 mile scenic ride to the woods on a paved path, plus a ride to the local airport on a hard surface road.
