Annual EcoThon at the Wilds

This annual 5K-10K walk/run is an event you won’t want to miss! Runners and walkers will be immersed in nature as they navigate the Wilds’ 5K and 10K trail courses along lakes and woodlands and through grasslands that stretch as far as the eye can see. Entry fees to EcoThon help support the Wilds’ important conservation science and education programs. Custom designed shirt, Safari Transport pass, along with other free gifts and food are given to all pre-registered entrants. Custom commemorative awards given to top runners in many categories. Race begins at 10 a.m.At 10,000 acres, the Wilds is the largest conservation center in North America and home to rare and endangered animals from around the world, as well as home to hundreds of indigenous species. This special event offers both serious runners and families looking for a healthy walk an opportunity to explore the Wilds’ unique habitats during the spring season. Reservations suggested.
