Annual Lake Havasu Polar Bear Day

Take a leap in the lake at the Annual Lake Havasu Polar Bear Day to earn your Polar Bear patch, presented by the Lake Havasu Boat & Ski Club. A dip in the lake is mandatory to get your badge! Group plunges scheduled at 12pm, 1pm, and 2pm, or you may make the plunge on our own!

Entry fee $8 for swimmers, but remember, no wet suits allowed! Come in your shorts, swim suits – then take the plunge! For those not quite so brave, the Club will provide the traditional blue and yellow “Chicken” patch for those who immerse any portion of their anatomy into the chilly Lake Havasu waters. Entry fee for “Chickens” is also $5.

All participants may warm themselves by the heaters on the beach and partake in a huge pot of soup to warm their innards. The Club invites EVERYONE to join in the fun at London Bridge Beach for an afternoon of thrills and chills. Trophies will be awarded to the youngest girl and boy, best spill and best show. Spectators are always welcome.
