Annual Mutt Strutt

North Country Animal League’s (NCAL) Mutt Strutt, is our fun-filled, family focused dog lovers’ walkathon and festival that raises money for the animals that come through our doors. 9:00am to 1:00pm.

Great contests, entertainment, a raffle, and yummy food surround the famous “Mutt Strutt” that parades dogs and their human companions through the beautiful village of Stowe. In the past we had demonstrations by Paws in Motion, the dancing dogs of Middlebury; an obedience demonstration by Howard Alter and Deanna, the 4th ranked obedience dog in Canada; and the agility dogs from Nomad to add to the excitement. Prizes were awarded for best dog costume, oldest dog, longest sit/stay, best lap dog and best pet trick. Participants could come with or without a canine friend – you didn’t need to have a dog to enjoy the fun!
