Annual Taos Pueblo Pow-Wow

Jun
26–28

The Taos Pueblo Pow Wow Committee extends a warm welcome and invitation to all, to participate and experience the Annual Taos Pueblo Pow Wow the second weekend in July. A pow wow is a gathering of Indian Nations in a common circle of friendship. Indian Country is made up of many tribal nations, bands, villages, and pueblos, each with their own traditional tribal beliefs and practices. A pow wow is the common fiber which draws Indian people together. It is a time for sharing with old friends and making new friends; a time for singing and dancing. It is a time for trading; trading craft goods and trading songs. We hope that you will be able to join us this summer for a weekend of beautiful indigenous dancing and singing, arts & crafts vendors, and food vendors as well!

The Taos Pueblo Pow Wow Committee and the people of Taos Pueblo are anxiously looking forward to hosting this tribal celebration in showcasing the beautiful homelands of the Red Willow People. We invite all dancers and singing groups to come enjoy and compete in the Annual Taos Pueblo Pow Wow at the base of the majestic Taos Mountain.

Happy Pow Wow Trails!
