Black Swamp Benefit Bazaar
The Black Swamp Benefit Bazaar is a festival of Mennonite culture and tradition that the entire family will enjoy. Join us at the Fulton County Fairgrounds for homemade foods, handcrafted items, live entertainment, a 5K Run, youth mud volleyball and a huge children’s area with more than 20 children’s activities and a children’s auction.
The main event for adults is a premiere quilt and wood auction that begins at 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning. The main auction features more than 100 quilts and wall hangings made by local quilt guilds, individuals and area Mennonite women’s groups. There is also a large selection of handmade furniture and other handcrafted wood items.
All proceeds from this event will be split between Sunshine Inc. of Northwest Ohio, a Mennonite-affiliated non-profit agency serving people with developmental disabilities, and MCC, the national/international disaster relief agency of the Mennonite church. So come get a taste of the Mennonite “good life” by purchasing some homemade pies, pork sandwiches, a handmade comforter or piece of custom woodworking.
Camping is available on-site for a nominal fee. For more details, visit us online.
