Botany on the Mountain Guided Hike

Continuing the 2006 ?Off the Beaten Path? Guided Hike Series with Park naturalist, Ron Lance, this outing will take guests to places along the Four Seasons Trail and then ?down slope? and off trail. This is a strenuous hike through rhododendron and steep slopes, about 2 miles over changing terrain. Hikers will get wonderful insight into various
aspects of plant identification, woods lore, plant edibility/toxicity, and natural history of an old forest, all in a memorable route of travel within the Park.
