Brothers of Valor are committed to standing up, doing the right thing, making a difference, together. Our society has developed a set of values that focus our time and attention on self-centered pursuits. Media and technology often define what is desirable. When do we grow up and become adults? There are mixed messages and little clarity. In some cultures there are ceremonies, events that help clarify the lines between being a child and being an adult. Our boys search for a purpose. They begin to create their own definitions for manhood. What we need are brothers who can hold each of us accountable and mentor us. We need role models that will point the way.
