Cambridge Rhythm & Arts Walk

May through November. – Enjoy a variety of live music, demonstrating artists, creative hands-on opportunities, food, shopping, social atmosphere and whimsical chairs at the Cambridge Rhythm & Arts Walk, 5 to 8 p.m. in Cambridge’s downtown historic district every first Friday May through November. People of all ages are invited to stroll historic Wheeling Avenue (Old National Road/Route 40) to enjoy a lively social atmosphere. Participating merchants are open late for the occasion, providing eclectic shopping, coffee,”drinks and spirits, desserts, and meals. Artists set up along the sidewalk demonstrate their craft, as acoustic entertainment of a wide variety fills the air with a delightful soundscape. Whimsically painted chairs mark the entrances to participating merchants! Many offer free refreshments and specials. The Cambridge Rhythm& Arts Walk is held rain or shine.
