Cane Syrup Makin’ Day at Rikard’s Mill Historical Park

A 19th Century restored mule-driven cane mill and furnace will again be making cane syrup as in olden days at Rikard’s Mill on Saturday. The syrup-making process will begin at 9 a.m., and mules will be grinding the sugar cane. Rikard’s Mill, an 1845 operating grist mill, at one time included a cane syrup mill.
Located between Monroeville and Camden on Highway 265, 5 miles North of Beatrice. 9 am – 2 pm.
