Chimney Rock Pioneer Days
Chimney Rock Pioneer Days starts Friday night with the opening ceremonies. Following the opening ceremonies is the “kidnapping” of this year’s victim. Valley Bank’s annual pork loin BBQ follows and the band Dirty Johnnies will provide the music for Friday night. There will also be other things going on up until the band starts at 8:30pm.
Saturday morning kicks off with the 5k run and the ride to Angora Hill. The ever popular parade starts at 11:00am followed by the food vendors opening up at 12:00 noon. There will also be a Jim Smith Memorial Co-ed Softball tournament that gets underway Fri. eve and going through Sat. eve. The Jim Rice Band will provide the music for Sat. night with fireworks at 9:30.
Sunday the ever growing “trapShoot” will kick off at 1pm.
