Civil War Reenactment

The reenactment covers Civil War reenactments of train battles, in which the train out of Virginia City is attacked by Union or Confederate forces on Saturday and Sunday; once in the morning and once in the afternoon, both days. (Times to be announced) a camp will be set up and everyone is welcome. Sunday at noon upstairs in The Delta a Civil War Luncheon/Tea and Fashion Show, which features Mrs. Sgt. Smith doing a Civil War dressing from her “Unmentionables” up. Saturday Night-potluck & Ball at Pierce’s Red Dog Saloon 6:30-11:00pm(D St. old depot) Monday troops take part in Labor Day parade, immediately followed by “The Battle that Should Have Been” for control of Virginia City in front of The Bucket of Blood/ Delta Saloon.
