Columbus County Agriculture Fair
The 45th annual fair features exciting midway rides for the whole family, Tiger Encounter, demolition derbies, animal shows, live music, Captain Jim Is Magic show, community exhibits, educational booths and favorite fair food.
Daily highlights: Spelling Bee – Grades 3-5 (6pm), Cheerleading Competition (6:30pm) on Tuesday; First Responders Tug-of-War (6pm), Spelling Bee – Grades 6-8 (6:30pm) on Wednesday; Flimsy the Clown (6:30pm), Randy Hawse & True South (8pm) on Thursday; Senior Day entertainment (1-4pm), Demolition Derby (7pm, $5), Chris Yates & Bobby Bowen (8pm) on Friday; Randy Pinyan Band (4:30pm), Fair Pageant (6-8pm), Demolition Derby (7pm, $5) on Saturday; Praise & Worship with Bristol Creek Church (3pm) on Sunday
Fair admission: $8 (free for kids 5 & younger). On Carload Sunday, admission and unlimited rides are $60/car for legally seat-belted occupants.
Unlimited ride wristbands (for riders 36″ & taller) are $25 on site or online before 4pm Oct. 7 for $20 each or 4/$75. Ride tickets are also available on the midway and discounted online pre-sale.
Fair hours: 4-11pm Tuesday – Friday, 1-11pm Saturday, 1-8pm Sunday. Parking is free.
