Get a glimpse of the life of the first settlers in Ohio at the First Federal Land Office of the United States. This structure, built in 1801, also served as the home of the area’s first land agent David Hoge. On the grounds is the massive 2½ ton bell from the Jefferson County Courthouse. Located next to Old Fort Steuben at 3rd & Adams Streets. Open by appointment.
