Free Fishing and Park Entry Day
Free Fishing and Park Entry Day is held the Saturday prior to Memorial Day weekend. Legislation passed in 1996 authorized a Free Fishing and Park Entry Day in Nebraska. The day is designed to attract those who no longer fish or who have never fished and to give them an opportunity to do so without the need to purchase a license.
