Gasconade County Fair

Owensville hosts the largest county-wide event – The Gasconade County Fair. Activities begin on Wednesday with entries of exhibits and livestock, carnival rides, food booths and more.

The exhibit halls are full of agricultural products, baked and canned foods, handmade creations, flowers and 4-H and Scout projects. The livestock barns are a popular attraction with beef and dairy cattle, swine, sheep, goats, and rabbits. The Livestock/Ham Sale is held on Saturday beginning at 3:00PM. Many local businesses and industries support the exhibitors. . Also, each evening a stage show and musical entertainment is provided. Tractor pulls and a Demolition Derby is also held during the 4-day fair.
