Gear Grinder Mountain Bike Race

Aug
2

Registration starts at 8:00am at Pipestem Creek Trail, located next to the Pipestem Dam, 4 miles North of Jamestown just off Highway 281. The race is open to anyone who would like to test his or her mountain biking skills. With three divisions of off road racing (Beginner’s, Sport and Advanced) you’re sure to find a race that will fit your skill level.

And for the young riders, there’s a Children’s race that remains on the parks roads and lawn. There will be a male and female class in each division and many age categories in those divisions. Each participant will get a T-shirt and energy snacks. Awards, merchandise or cash could be yours, too, if you are a top finisher! For more information pick up a race flyer at the Jamestown Parks and Recreation Office. 1pm – 4pm GMT
