George Washington Carver Arts & Crafts Festival
The Carver Festival, co-sponsored by the Tuskegee Area Chamber of Commerce, is a multi-faceted event celebrating the life and works of Dr. George Washington Carver. Held annually in downtown Tuskegee on the City Square and North Main Street the Saturday prior to Mother’s Day. Artisans display their handicrafts… From quilts to canvas, earrings to African artifacts. Jazz and blues musicians keep the crowds moving.
