Hardin County – “Ohio’s least-known Amish Enclave”

Sep
5–6

Steal away to a slower pace and experience Hardin County’s Old Order Amish. Nestled within the scenic and winding back roads of this small rural county you’ll find a less commercialized Amish community where great pains are taken to keep their simple and uncluttered lifestyle preserved. Not only will you drive away with a greater appreciation for this unique lifestyle, you’ll have opportunity to discover the many handcrafted and homemade produce products offered by the Amish community such as fresh eggs, cheese, baked goods, quilts and furniture.

This self-guided tour flows through some of the more historical areas of Hardin County. Experience an old stage coach stop, now home to a General Store operated very true to the days gone by. Quaint shopping experiences can be found just to the south, all within minutes and providing a complete outing all will enjoy. Say farewell to the fastlane, and experience Hardin County’s Amish Country, located between Routes 309 & 31, just North of Mt. Victory and SE of Kenton.
