Harvest Festival

Sep
19–20

For the settlers of the Western Reserve, harvest was both a time of preparation and a joyful celebration of a successful year of work. The Harvest Festival at Hale Farm & Village reflects how every family member in the mid 19th century worked to prepare for the winter ahead by canning and pickling, repairing buildings, and cutting firewood.

This Harvest Festival offers wagon rides, yards of straw to play in, pumpkin patches, cider, and treats, all in the heart of the rolling hills of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
