International Migratory Bird Day

IMBD is an annual celebration of one of the most important events in the life of the migratory bird – its journey between winter and summer homes. The events are planned to view birds and learn about their natural habitats. The schedule is as follows: IBA walk at 6:30am, bird/nature walks at 9:30am and 1:30pm, bird banding from 8-11am, live bird show with Carol Winfield at 11:00am, and Bald Eagle discussion with slides at 2:45pm.
