Luck Legacy Kiln Opening

Fifth generation potter and recipient of the 1994 Living Treasure of North Carolina award, Sid Luck, hosts the annual Luck Legacy Kiln Opening and 20th anniversary of Luck’s Ware. Guests will include former and current apprentice potters, as well as Kevin Brown and Sandy Cole of Sanford?s North Cole Pottery. A wide range of traditional, utilitarian pottery will be available including salt-glazed. The kiln will be opened at 11 am. Refreshments will be served; entertainment by bluegrass band, Steel Magnolia.

From Hwy 220/I-73/I-74, take exit 45 at Seagrove and follow the signs to Hwy 705 South. Continue on Hwy 705; turn right on Adams Rd and follow the signs to the shop.
