Revolution on the Tuscarawas: Encampment at Fort Laurens

Jul
4–5

The site of this 1778 military outpost comes alive when members of the Brigade of the American Revolution invade to set up American and British camps. These authentically-costumed reenactors and their "camp follower" families will drill, march, and participate in mock battles on both days. Rows of canvas tents, colorful uniforms, outdoor cooking, and other demonstrations can be witnessed by visitors, who are encouraged to ask questions of the reenactors.
