Slate Creek Relay
The running of the Slate Creek Relay, although sponsored by the Wellington Area Chamber of Commerce, involves over 150 volunteers, and the close coordination of various Wellington City, Sumner County, Wellington Township and many other significant contributors.
Held the last Saturday in July every year!
360 Yard Sprint
3/4 Mile Run
Cross Country
Motocross, 2 1/2 mile
Desert Highway, 3/4 mile run
Horse Race, 1 1/8 mile
Bicycle, 1/2 mile
Mile Run
Two Man Canoe
1/2 Mile Run
360 Yard Sprint
A team consists of 15 men/women. Participants must be 16 years of age by race day. Combined age of all team participants must average 26 years of age or older.
