Stearns Farm Old Fashioned Ice Cream Social
Join us for a scoop or two of good old fashioned American fun. This Old-Fashioned Ice Cream Social is held on the grounds of Stearns Homestead.
Stearns farm is a 48-acre site owned by the City of Parma and operated by the Parma Area Historical Society as an educational and historic farm. The Stearns House (1855) and the Gibbs House (1920) are operated as museums with furnishings appropriate to the era. A Country Store, meeting cabin, gardens, farm animals and their shelters offer a memorable visit to Parma’s past. Stearns Homestead was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981, and an Ohio Historical Marker was erected in 2001, identifying Stearns Homestead as a historic farm.
Stearns farm is open each Saturday & Sunday 1-4p.m. from May 19 to mid-October.
Special events are scheduled and tours may be arranged. Admission free. Donations welcome.
