Stream Discovery/Catch at Medoc Mountain State Park

Join a ranger at 2 pm at the picnic shelter for a quick review of the fish species that can be caught in Little Fishing Creek and the techniques that catch them. Find out about the park?s varied species of aquatic life and learn about the areas of the creek where deeper holes or rapids are present and how to access them. Bring your own tackle, insect repellent, and fish as long as you?d like. N.C. Fishing License required for all participants over the age of 16. Call the park office to register.
