A “Joint Effort” of the Hopi people, Arizona State Parks, and the Homolovi Chapter of the Arizona Archaeological Society, this open house will celebrate all the partners who have helped to protect and save Homolovi from destruction. On Saturday, activities take place at Homolovi. On Sunday, the activities are on the Hopi Mesas with a morning run (2 or 5 mile) at sunrise. Throughout the day, there will be Hopi artist demonstrations, traditional food demonstrations, and lectures from Hopi people and archaeologists interpreting the site.
