Texas State University Mariachi Festival

More than 150 middle and high school students travel from schools and colleges throughout Texas to participate in a competition and instructional seminars focusing on various aspects of the mariachi art form. The festival culminates with “La Feria del Mariachi Concert” and will be held May 1 from 7:00-9:30 p.m. in Strahan Coliseum at Texas State University-San Marcos.
