The Bison: American Icon

Kauffman Museum is the only Kansas host for “The Bison: American Icon” which is traveling the United States for five years. Explore the significance of the North America bison from the Plains Indian cultures of the 1800s, through commercial trade and development, to becoming a national symbol.
