The Great Grape Stompe Off Competition

The spirit and excitement of harvest season on the Texas Hill Country Wine Trail comes together this year when Vintage Oaks at the Vineyard hosts the second annual Texas Hill Country Wine Trail Championship Grape Stomp. This annual event allows couples to test their foot stomping and juice grinding abilities. The event will be open to over 100 teams scheduled to crush over 1,000 pounds of grapes! Bring your own team to stomp, taste and explore! Arrive early to register for the grape stomp competition conducted by Dry Comal Creek Vineyards! Not up for stomping? That’s okay! Local restaurants and Texas Hill Country wineries will be on hand preparing delectable foods and pouring award-winning wine tastings and wine by the glass. Live music provided by Jazz Blues and Diamonds will keep the stompers stompin and provide an unbelievable show. To top it off there is a children’s area for stomping grapes that make this event fun for all ages. The Grape Stomp Championship also benefits a local charity -Comal Education Foundation. Each paid ticket gets you $10 worth of tickets to purchase food and of course, WINE!
