Torch Light Tour of The Hocking River

Jul

Imagine the light from flickering torches reflecting off the ripples of the water, lighting golden-amber eyes blinking at you from the trees river side, the glow of the flames on the water. Experience the unique, Torchlight Canoe Trip with an old flame, or just someone fun to be with.

The folks at the Hocking Valley Canoe Livery invite you to enjoy this experience May 25, July 5, and August 31, 2008 for only $35 per canoe.
With torches mounted on your canoe, you will spend two hours in a night time paradise, serenaded by the sound of oars dipping in water, crickets and tree frogs chirping and other sounds floating from the wooded river side.

When the canoe ride is finished, the evening is only half over, as you pull up a seat around a roaring bonfire and enjoy traditional campfire fare: hot dogs, marshmallows and more. And just to add the perfect, finishing touch to your nocturnal cruise down the lovely Hocking River, your hosts at the Hocking Valley Canoe Livery will provide musical entertainment as well.

RESERVATIONS ARE NECESSARY, canoes fill up fast, so RSVP now by calling 1-800-686-0386.
