Vernal Equinox Walks

Special guided tours offered at Oklahoma’s only prehistoric Native American archaeological site open to the public. Each tour will be one mile of easy walking and about two hours in duration. Archaeologist and Manager Dennis Peterson will tell about the Mound Center, excavations, and why some mounds line up to solstice and equinox sunsets. Handicap Accessible. Tours at 11am, 2pm, 7pm.
