Join the Town of Buckeye Community Services Department in celebrating Viva Buckeye! The event will take place on Friday, April 30th from 6pm-9pm at Earl Edgar Recreational Facility, located at corner of Miller and Beloat Road. There will be entertainment for the whole family to enjoy including children’s area, Chihuahua dog races, live entertainment, food and traditional music. If you never seen Chihuahua races, you are in for an exciting time. The application to register your dog is available at www.buckeyeaz.gov or by contacting Phil Yabes at 623-349-6604 for more information. The theme for the children’s area is El Dia de los Ninos/El Dia de los Libros (Children’s Day/Book Day). The activities located in the children’s area are games that help encourage a love for reading; book giveaways, special story telling area and book bingo for kids of all ages. A variety of traditional Hispanic food will be available for purchase. Live entertainment and dance area will be located at the stage. Admission is free. Bring your family and friends to enjoy another spectacular Town of Buckeye event. This event sponsored in part by Buckeye Main Street Coalition.
