Wappapello Outdoors Opportunity for Disabled Sportsmen

This event consist of boating, fishing,dutch oven cooking, air rifle and archery,bluebird house construction and interpretive environmental programs for the mentally and physically challenged.

Pontoon boats, fishing equipment, personal flotation devices (life jackets), archery equipment, air guns, informative programs and lunch are provided to all who would like to participate. Individuals can choose to participate in as many activities as desired. There will be special guest who will provide interactive and hands on seminars through out the day. The event will be divided up into two halves to better facilitate all who wish to come. The first session will be from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and the second session from 1200 noon to 3 p.m. at the Redman Creek Recreation Area.

It is done in partnership with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wappapello Lions Club, Missouri Department of Conservation, Independent Living and the National Wild Turkey Federation along with numerous volunteers Pre-registration is required.
