Wetlands Walk & Cruise the Cut

Join Michigan Department of Natural Resources and the Detroit RiverFront Conservancy for a FREE day of exploring Detroit’s Urban Trails— Milliken State Park Wetlands & The Dequindre Cut.

*Walking tours of Milliken State Park wetlands—led by DNR Park Naturalists 45 minute tours will start at the South West entrance at Rivard Plaza at 12PM, 1PM, & 2PM.
*Chat & Chew with herbal specialist Ravin Regina Lawson about the herbal plants along the riverfront.
*Self-guided tours of the Dequindre Cut to Eastern Market, where participants will receive something special from the Market.
*Discounted bike rentals from Wheelhouse Detroit bike shop and discounted Segway Rentals from SEMSEG, but feel free to bring your own wheels.

This event is a celebration of National Public Lands Day and Michigan Trails Week.
