Lake Guide
Charles Mill Lake
Charles Mill Lake is located on the Black Fork of the Mohican River with 1,350 acres of water surface. In partnership with the U.S. Corps of Engineers, the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District administers the recreation facilities on the lake behind the dam through their facilities at Charles Mill Lake Park. They host an annual classic car show in early September.
Charles Mill is a quiet place to relax and enjoy nature. The park entrance is located near the junction of State Routes 430 and 603.
Charles Mill Lake also is the home of the Johnny Appleseed Heritage Center and Outdoor Historical Drama.
