Cold Brook Lake

On the south fringe of the Black Hills, Cold Brook Lake is 1.2 miles in length and its multipurpose pool contains 520 acre-feet of water. Cold Brook Lake offers a great variety or recreational activities year around including fishing, swimming, ice fishing, skating, cross-country skiing, archery, and electric motor boating.

Spring anglers are lured by rainbow trout and large mouth bass. Deer and turkey hunting are allowed during the fall. There are camping and picnic areas on the west side of the lake with easy access to the beach and boat ramp. A group-use area is also available. An archery range is located on the east edge of the canyon.
