Lake Guide
Lake Thunderbird
Blue water, oak trees and rolling hills charm millions of Norman visitors each year. Lake Thunderbird's 7,000 acres allow plenty of room for various water activities. Sandy beaches and more than 5,500 acres of Lake Thunderbird State Park horseback riding, dining, sailing, camping, windsurfing, water skiing, fishing, boating, hiking, swimming, mountain biking, hunting, bingo and a zoo can occupy your time while visiting the Lake Thunderbird area.
Two full service marinas have all the supplies you will need for a day of lake recreation. Information and nature centers, RV hookups, camping sites that include picnic tables and grills are located throughout the park.
Lakeside dining, horse riding stables, miniature golf and a gift store will round out your weekend adventure.
